As announced earlier this year, postgrad scholarship funding has been secured for allied health and AOD practitioners working in state-funded services.
This is thanks to the work of HACSU members who have advocated for mental health and AOD workers, speaking directly to Victorian Government MPs to champion these scholarships and other sector reforms.
The Victorian Department of Health is offering scholarships of up to $13,000 for postgrad qualifications to support you in your mental health or AOD practice.
Applications are now open for social workers, occupational therapists and psychologists working in a state-funded mental health service and AOD practitioners working in a state-funded AOD service.
If you're enrolled or are intending to enrol in a postgrad course in semester two this year, click here to read the full eligibility criteria and apply.
Applications close April 28, so get in quick! There are numerous spots available, so make sure to share this opportunity with any colleagues or friends who may be interested.
