The Expression of Interest period for Voluntary Departure Packages (VDPs) opens today and will close October 14th 2019. 

If you haven't yet, you will soon receive a toolkit in the mail, from the Department. This communication will outline the process relating to the VDPs.

We're aware that not all members have received the toolkit as yet.

If this is the case for you, please be aware that it is probably in the post. If you're keen for further information now, you can email transferERP@dhhs.vic.gov.au or call (03) 9096 0806.

As a reminder, the Department will refer in their communications to an “Early Retirement Scheme”. This is another name for the VDPs; there is no difference except the name. HACSU communications will continue to refer to these packages as VDPs.

If you are eligible, it is recommended that you complete your Expression of Interest as soon as possible - don't wait until the list minute!

VDP applications will be required to be submitted via email to the Department and if you need assistance with this, then speak to your House Supervisor, colleagues, support persons or contact HACSU.
