HACSU MEMBERS ARE NOT TO FOLLOW MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTION RE: COMPLETION OF PAPER BASED FORMS OF THE RESTRICTIVE INTERVENTION DATA SYSTEM (RIDS).
HACSU understands management are instructing HACSU members to complete paper based forms for the Restrictive Intervention Data System (RIDS).
HACSU notes this directive is wrong.
Members SHOULD NOT BE INPUTTING MONTHLY DATA OF ENDORSEMENT OF RIDS, because this is INDUSTRIAL ACTION that is protected by law: Ban 9 – Refuse to complete email alerts and updates in relation to category 1 incidents and updates in relation to Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and the monthly data entry of endorsements of Restrictive Intervention Data Systems (RIDS).
HACSU instructs its members NOT to complete paper based forms of RIDS.
Any attempt by management to force members to do so or take any action against members because they are implementing ban 9 should is prohibited by law and members should contact the HACSU office on 9340 4100 as a matter of priority.
