DHHS EBA Update: SAY NO to preparing for next years external Group Home audits!

HACSU understands the DHHS is seeking DAS staff prepare for next year’s external auditors, including the completion of the ‘DHHS – self assessment report and quality improvement plans’ [howsoever named], that may also include updates to BSP’s and other checklists.
HACSU members are reminded to support our members’ campaign for a new EBA, and, protections in the event of privatisation of services. The following Bans apply.
Ban 9 refuse to complete email alerts and updates in relation to category 1 incidents and updates in relation to behaviour support plans (BSPs) and the monthly data entry or endorsement of restrictive intervention data system (RIDS)
Ban 11 refuse to attend quality assurance meetings and to complete quality assurance documentation
Ban 13 refuse to communicate with DHHS Area, Division or Central offices, excluding payroll.
Ban 22 refuse to enter data and/or complete DAS surveys, or however so named.
Ban 23 refuse to participate in quality of support reviews or however so named.
Tell your manager you are NOT participating in this process because HACSU members are engaged in a campaign of Protected Industrial Action for a New EBA.
It’s your legal right to say NO.
