HACSU are proud to announce drafting for the 2016-2020 Forensicare EBA has been complete with the final meeting confirming the details of the new Thomas Embling de-escalation team. The Clinical Support and De-escalation Team will involve surplus staff, comprised of nursing and non-nursing roles, who will be available to respond to crisis and emergency situations at Thomas Embling Hospital.

The EBA is now in the process of being checked by the legal professionals, before the access period will open. The access period will allow all staff at Foresicare to view the new agreement before going to a vote. The access period dates are still to be confirmed at this point.

Important details regarding EBA vote!

The vote will be held as a show of hands at a meeting at the Thomas Embling Hospital. The date is still to be confirmed however we are expecting this to occur within the next fortnight.

Members can vote via proxy. The proxy MUST be a Forensicare staff member. A maximum of 6 proxies can be held by one staff member.

We are expecting further information, including how to organise a proxy as well as a confirmation of dates by the end of this week. HACSU will be in contact with the information as soon as possible.
