Last weekend, at the Australian Labor Party State Conference, HACSU called on the State Government to uphold the commitments made in the 2014 Victorian ALP Platform and immediately suspend the closure of the Eastern View, Ballarat Community Care Unit and ensure that the people of Ballarat, like all other Victorians, have the same access to services throughout their journey to recovery.

HACSU will continue to fight back when vital mental health services to the care and recovery continuum are taken from the community and when our member’s jobs are threatened.
