2018-11-27

In recent months, HACSU Officials have been working with the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation Inc. (VACCHO) in regards to enhancing the future health and wellbeing of Aboriginal Victorians.

VACCHO is the peak body for Aboriginal health and wellbeing in Victoria and provide support to around 25,000 people across the state.

As a part of this association, HACSU is also involved in the Aboriginal Mental Health Traineeship Program initiative which employs a workforce platform of training and clinical placements in order to build on provision of cultural safety in the sector.

We'll continue to keep you updated on further developments as they come to light. To read more about VACCHO's current strategic plan, click here!
