This week, Headspace National (eHeadspace) members voted on the headspace Enterprise Agreement 2023. Voting closed last night, with 90% of staff voting to approve the new agreement. 

Members have won sector-leading entitlements, with HACSU leading negotiations for better conditions. This is the first EBA where HACSU members have won our Reproductive Health and Wellbeing Clause in full, as well as winning superannuation paid as its earned! Other wins include 15 days personal leave, 20 days paid family and domestic violence leave for all workers and extended weekend penalty rates.

Headspace National members have also won entitlements that recognise the diversity of the workforce. Our new parental & adoption leave clause is on par with the public sector, but also extends to grandparents and other family that become primary carers. Members have won 20 days of gender affirmation leave that recognises a broader definition of gender affirming care, led by HACSU members writing a clause that recognises the needs of trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse workers.
