Nurse and PSO Pay Increases!

2019-03-22

On the first full pay period on or after April 1st 2019, all psychiatric enrolled nurses, registered psychiatric nurses and psychiatric services officers (PSOs) will receive a pay increase!

Click here to download a wage rate table to find out your specific increase.

This is an important increase for RPNs in particular because it bring us parity with NSW nurses!

This means that increases of between 5-18% depending on your grade and year of service.

Across the term of the EBA, from 2016-2020, we've seen some fantastic outcomes for wages across the workforce. Some examples of pay rises we won include:

$22,001 - PEN Level 2 Year 2

$34,860 - RPN Grade 2 Year 8

$33,244 - Allied Health Grade 2 Year 4

$28,449 - Clerical Worker B Year 1

$21,892 - PSO Level 2 Year 5

HUGE wins like these only happen when we're working together as a collective union to fight for our rights!

*Please note you will not receive the increased rate of pay from April 1st, but from the first full pay period following this date.
