As an affiliated Union, HACSU is in support to regional Trades and labour Council because the regional councils have a vital role to play and we, at HACSU, understand the challenges faced by Trades and Labour Councils in regional Victoria.

We want to emphasise the importance of joining your local trades hall to build on activism and improve campaigning across Victoria through Regional Trades and Labour Councils.

You may be already a member of your regional trades and labour council, and we congratulate you for being part of it.  We would really appreciate if you could let us know so we could update our database accordingly.

However, if you are not a member yet, we encourage you to JOIN!

Their role is to promote working-class solidarity in local communities, representing workers in regional areas and organising around local issues.
