St John of God/Marillac Merger & EBA Bargaining Update

HACSU has been in discussions with St John of God regarding their acquisition of Marillac.

We have been advised that St John of God have begun to pay Marillac staff the higher wages enjoyed by St John of God employees.

St John of God have agreed to bargain for one EBA that would cover both St John of God and Marillac employees.

A “Notice of Employee Representational Rights”(NERR) has been issued as required under the Fair Work Act.

There is no need to respond to the NERR as HACSU are automatically your bargaining representative.

HACSU will consult with members from both Marillac and St John of God about the new EBA.
