The new Aruma EBA is now in effect

2023-05-02

Last week the Fair Work Commission formally approved the Aruma Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2023 – your new EBA!

The EBA, along with all its benefits and protections has now formally come into operation, as of Friday 28 April 2023.

You can download a copy of the EBA here.

Members have both protected important conditions and made new wins. These include improved allowancessuperannuation paid fortnightly, minimum 2% wage rises, paid reproductive health and wellbeing leave, strong roster clauses, reimbursement of NDIS Screening Checkstraining for behaviours of concern and more.

We've also won a joint consultative committee, where HACSU delegates will be able to discuss and consult on workplace manners — ensuring HACSU members' voices are heard in-between EBA negotiations.

Whilst the EBA has been approved, there is still a lot of work to do. If you want to continue to use your voice, there's no better time to sign up as a delegate or a HSR in your worksite.

If you have any questions, please contact your delegate, your organiser or HACSU Assist at assist@hacsu.asn.au or on 1300 651 931.
