2022-10-20

A message from Aware Super

Stronger together

In July 2020 VicSuper and Aware Super merged – two like-minded brands stronger together. As part of this, VicSuper will be changing its name to Aware Super in early 2023. Being a part of a unified fund will provide VicSuper members with access to a range of benefits that make it easier to manage their super and achieve their retirement goals. Managing a single brand is also more cost-effective, enabling the fund to pass on savings to VicSuper members.

From 3 November 2022 VicSuper members will have access to new product features that includes:

  • Competitive fees* – we’re able to leverage our size to bring costs down and this means reduced fees and a lot more for VicSuper members in and approaching retirement.
  • More investment options to choose from, plus access to our industry leading investment approach – MySuper Lifecycle, which automatically adjusts the investment mix as members get older, to help balance risk and return that’s best suited to their age.
  • An updated investment menu, giving VicSuper members greater flexibility and choice to meet their personal investment needs and preferences.
  • Insurance that provides a greater level of choice and control – ensuring VicSuper members get the most from their insurance cover.

As part of Aware Super, VicSuper members will have access to even more opportunities and choice, as well as tools to help you plan for your future with confidence. There are more exciting benefits coming soon that we’ll keep you updated about. Like to know more? Find out here.
