We’re celebrating after a great outcome at Peninsula Health this month!
Over the past three years, HACSU members at Peninsula Health’s Continuing Care Unit have battled against management’s proposed changes to the staffing profile as well as the transferring of unendorsed nurses from the CCU to the Behaviour of Concerns team in Frankston Hospital.
We’re happy to report that after tough negotiations and through the dedicated hard work of HACSU delegates and officials that we’ve had a fantastic outcome!
The staffing profile will not be reduced to 3.3.2. and instead will be 3.4.2.
Three unendorsed nurses who were being asked to move out of the CCU have also retained their positions.
Great stories like this remind us why it’s important to be part of a strong union like HACSU. We wouldn’t have great outcomes like these without the efforts of dedicated union members and officials working together for the best interests of all!
Talk to your colleagues today about the power of being a part of HACSU.
