What to do at Time Tax

2020-06-30

Tax time is almost upon us.

One of the benefits of being a member of the Health and Community Services Union is that your union membership is fully tax deductible. That means you can claim your membership as a work-related expense, saving you money at tax time.

In order to claim your membership as a deduction, you'll need a copy of your HACSU Tax Statement , which you can find on your Member MyPage .

Tax Statements will be available from July 1st via your Member MyPage .

We’ve created a video that helps explain how to access your Tax Statement.

Instructions:

  1. Log in to MyPage at mypage.hacsu.asn.au

  2. Click ‘Profile’ in the menu bar

  3. Navigate to ‘My Tax Statement’

  4. Choose the year you wish to download

  5. Click ‘Generate’

If you’re logging in to MyPage for the first time, watch this video that explains how to log in to MyPage for the first time.

You can also call us on 1300 651 931 or email us  hacsu@hacsu.asn.au  to get further information and support.

Please note: the HACSU Branch Committee of Management has decided that there will be no fee increase this year as we recognise the economic distress and want to support our members during these difficult times.

As well as being a great place for you to connect with your union online, MyPage is where you can find lots of members-only information and benefits and we’re adding more benefits all the time!
