The Tipping Foundation / VISTA and House with No Steps have proposed some changes to your Health and Safety Repressive (HSR) structure. This affects your ability to advocate for a workplace that is safe and doesn’t harm your health.

Please attend a meeting in your area to discuss the proposed changes and what it means for you and your colleagues. Your attendance at the meeting will provide you with an opportunity to further learn about the role and importance of HSRs. 

HSRs are a legislative requirement and are elected by workers such as yourself, they play a crucial and independent role in ensuring that your workplace is a safe place to work.
HACSU representatives will be formally writing to The Tipping Foundation (TTF) & House with No Steps (HWNS) senior management by no later than 20 July 2018.

To ensure that HACSU representatives are reflecting the needs of our membership, it is important that you attend a meeting in your area.

HACSU and the wider union movement have fought hard to ensure that occupational health and safety are a top priority for all employers. This is a great opportunity to consult with TTF & HWNS about OH&S and we hope to provide them with consultation that truly reflects the needs of HACSU members.
